I started building websites in 2010. Back then, every project was WordPress — custom themes, WooCommerce stores, plugin development, complex directory platforms. Over 15 years I touched every layer of the stack: PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, server configuration, performance optimization. I built sites for small businesses, startups, and agencies, learning what actually moves the needle for people trying to grow.

Somewhere along the way, I realized the biggest problem wasn't the website itself. It was everything around it — the hours spent on repetitive tasks, the leads falling through the cracks, the manual processes that kept business owners chained to their desks. A great website doesn't matter if nobody has time to follow up on the leads it generates.

When AI went from a research curiosity to a practical tool, I went all in. Not on demos or hype — on building real systems. Autonomous AI agents that answer phones and book appointments. Today I run Songbird Digital, where I combine deep web development experience with modern AI tooling. My specialty is turning large language models into working systems — not proofs of concept, but production tools that save real time and generate real revenue for small businesses.
